So with all that said, keep your eyes, minds, and ears open for the sounds of truth that the will infiltrate your minds and households coming directly from "THE REGIMENT"

| In 2006, a work of art was unveiled in the Detroit Market that would open the minds of the mentally limited individuals in the Hip Hop Arena. The creation revealed the fusion of three powerful forces forming a brigade referred to as "THE REGIMENT".
"The Regiment" consists of strategically placed elements all on one accord with all members having one goal in mind, to revive the rhythmic heartbeat in the grassroots hip-hop forum. Two soldiers, 23-year-old O.S.I. (Original. Soul. Invented.)and 22-year-old C. Reid both veterans of Detroit, stepped onto the plateau equipped with Hip Hop guerilla tactics, focus and determination.
With both members, along with the city's musical needs, on one accord and sharing a like-minded goal, they embarked on a journey to bring the life back into the dying breed of true Hip Hop Music and to embrace the legacy of expression at its finest. Having been influenced by a many infamous emcees and DJs including, but not limited to, Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Blackstar, Run DMC, and the late great J-Dilla, the group decided that it was time to make some noise concerning the absence of art.
The troop understands the everyday struggle of upcoming Hip Hop Artists in Detroit and diligently offers the combined knowledge and talents of "The Regiment" to uplift any and all artists indulging in the art. This group is not only about entertaining, but more importantly they are community activists using positive Hip Hop as a vehicle to deliver empowering and prophetic messages to their audience through the fluid flow of their lyrically gifted team.
They are appreciative to have been opening acts with KRS-One, Slum Village, and a variety of other performers who have mentally taught them to appreciate and respect artists and music from all genres and corners of the universe. Also, having a heart for the Detroit Public School (DPS) System they actively participate and perform at local elementary and middle schools within the City of Detroit. This allows the group the opportunity to reach out and adopt the future leaders of the Hip Hop culture that will never die but vastly multiply. Their hunger for True art in its raw form increases their ability to focus in on the four elements of Hip Hop: Graffiti Art, Dee Jaying, Break Dancing, and Emceeing.
