| Check out 3 time Detroit Music Award winners The Brothers Groove's only two shows of May 2007 this week!
Wednesday May 9th We perform at The Buzz Bar. James Simonson (DMA Outstanding Urban Funk Musician 2007) is back after a two week tour of Italy, Tunis, and Slovenia with Thornetta Davis. We're looking forward to jamming together after nearly a month since our last show. (Chris Codish leaves on May 16th for a two week tour of Russia, Germany and Japan with Hiram Bullock.)
At Midnight we celebrate Skeeto Valdez's birthday and we'll be celebrating James birthday as well (April 28, he was in Italy) It's a band 2/3's full of Taurus'. What a lot of bull!!
On Thursday May 10 we move the party over to the East Side and perform once again at The Cadieux Cafe. This is the official Skeeto Valdez birthday celebration. Bring small gifts under $3500 please....or just bring your own funky self.
The Cadieux has an incredible beer selection and great mussells. Plus, that's right, featherbowling!
We'll have our special guests Puttygutt with us each night. They have a great mix of acoustic instruments and vocals and cool material. Get there early and check them out.
