Formed in late 2003, Sinjon Smith's core is the long-time writing team of Chris Wietzke & Diane Smith who are known for their memorable melodies and unforgettable hooks. They are inspired from their love of such music greats as Led Zeppelin, Heart, Bonnie Rait, and Shelby Lynne. Added to the lineup in Dec. of 2003 was one of Detroit's finest drummers, Lonnell Lewis and Meagan McMillan on backing vocals. Sinjon Smith is able to smear the line between Pop/Rock & Country bringing the best of both genre's to a new sound that sets them apart from all others in their class.
