After 6 years of diligent soul-searching, One More August has finally found the sound they've been searching for. OMA is an Alternative-Pop-Rock group from Warren, Michigan. The act which resembles radio favorites such as Matchbox 20, Our Lady Peace, and Pearl Jam are adding a different youthful edge to the staple of the pop-rock scene.

"Now You're Gone" features the hard hitting songs "Crawlin' the Walls," and "6th Degree," as well as the sullen "Now You're Gone." The EP was produced by Kevin Holevar of Underground Productions, who strenuously works with Detroit's best.

| James Aaron Curtis |
| The frontman and lyricist, James has come a long way from playing the classical piano at age 5. James first began his career in music after becoming infatuated with the innovative guitar work of Tom Morello, and joined a band as lead guitarist that enjoyed both the musicianship and politics of Rage Against the Machine named Downward Trend in 1998. Soon after, James' tastes mellowed, and became very attached to Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace. OLP inspired James to write, and he soon got the itch to sing, and formed the group Last Minute in 2000. After a brief stint, and a revolving door cast, Last Minute transformed into One More August.
James' lyrical method borders on the ambiguous. He believes that lyrics should be as individually interpretable as a painting, though songs like "Now You're Gone" tend to be more poignant and leading.
James currently plays a Fender American Standard Telecaster, and uses Shure microphones. |

| Mike Brown |
| Residing deep within the concrete jungle known to the world only as Dearborn, this low frequency tyrant reigns over his four stringed minions with an iron fist. Little is known about him. Only that he has an an insatiable appetite for fender basses, and posesses a vast understanding of method and technique. Hell bent on world domination, this skillful warrior is feared by musicians and enthusiasts the world over. |
