OBMZ was the brainchild of Cory Duncan and his wife Angelica Duncan. Cory had met Eddie Wolfe at The Recording Institute of Detroit where he was working on his recording engineering certification. After getting together a few times a project direction was decided on and recording began at Nectarine Studio. By the summer of 2003 the project finished with the two songs featured here.
