Blinded NoJustus formed in September 2006 as a studio project. The members all played in previous projects in the Downriver area. Bands to be mentioned are, Circular Motion, Fastraxx and Skydancer. Once a writing chemistry was realized, they recorded their first CD as a band, self titled, "NO JUSTUS", which was released in April of 2008. Ronnie Mowrer, a veteran of the Detroit scene, offers what's been described as a colorful style. With his smooth vocals, it makes NoJustus' live shows something to be seen. In each track, the powerful bassline that is played by Art D'Aoust, thickens out each song just right. The back bone of each melody is carried out with the flow of Mike Thornton on drums. The band is rounded out by the "Southern Rock" sound of Billy Lash, who has proven to be a prolific guitar player by coming up with the meaty sound that pulls through. The combination of the above mentioned artists, form the rock group. Four Midwestern musicians, with the intentional throw-back sound are trying to capture the sound and feel of authentic American rock, while drawing in a vast amount of fans from all walks of life.
