I am an artist from Germany and have been living for the past 10 years in Detroit and miss you guys and girls!! Currently I am in German exile (LOL) to finish my PhD on Art and Education and how all the art, I created in Detroit, helped me to get to know and appreciate the good stuff in the city and how it became a part of me. Some of the art projects I did in the city were - a tall ship series, that had been featured during the Landing of the Tall Ships at Detroit's Tricentennial Celebration - "Images in Stone. Detroit - the first 300 years", a book of pen and ink drawings of historical sites of the city - restored to show it's potential architectural beauty. It also includes a bunch of facts you might not have known about the sites. They still have some of my artwork and I regularly participate in their exhibitions. Anyhow. While being here, I thought I could make myself also useful for some of you guys and girls. So I thought about giving Detroit Bands the chance to get some exposure here in Europe. In particular the HR3 in Frankfurt has some interest in doing something about fresh music from the D.
