Katastrofi, originally Eternal Hatred, was formed in 2005. The original line up was, Jeff Wagenti on lead, Nathen Slagle on rythm, Tyler Reed on drums, Chris Boring on Vocals, and Mike Landers on Bass. Eternal Hatred with that line up was only to last about 6 months before the band disbanded and the voalist moved to Arizona. In the spring of 2007 Katastrofi Sprung from the ashes of Eternal Hatred. The line up for Katastrofi was as follows, Mark Jenson-Vocals, Jeff Wagenti-Lead, Nathen Slagle-Rythm, Mike Landers-Bass, and Troy Schaffer-Drums. Now with a new fresh sound Katastrofi set way to produce the uttmost brutal metal. After the first show, Troy decided to leave whilst saying he had to many things on his plate to deal with at that time. On July 24th Katastrofi disbanded until they would find their new line up only 2 weeks later. Mark Jenson-Vocals, Jeff Wagenti-Lead/Rythm, Mike Landers, Rythm/Lead, Christopher Boring who moved back from AZ on Bass, and Jordan Wagenti-Drums. They have been destroying towns and cities ever since with punishing breakdowns and thrashy riffs with a new and old school metal feel....
