James Conway is a veteran of the Detroit music scene. Starting in 1982 in a Metal band "Purgatory" and later as one of the lead guitarist of the Metal band "Carbide" which its members would later splinter off into bands such as Carbide,Sponge,Subject to Change,Shotgun Logic,Thrown. After recording several solo C.D.'s,James has put this band together to re-emerge as an addition to the already great musicians and bands that he has a great respect for. James Conway Project is a band that plays original music and selected cover tunes that reflect the guitarist and bands he listened to coming up...Rush,Judas Priest,UFO,Robin Trower,Joe Satriani and others.
