The Illusions are a classic rock and oldies cover band with an extensive songlist, and we provide, as part of our show, the opportunity for "live band karaoke". We have a lyrics book of 200 songs beyond our regular setlists, and event patrons can sing lead with the band. Great fun, with often unpredictable results! We are musically adventurous with the top 40 tunes of the 50's through 80's, and we'll often throw requested songs together on the spot. The members: Dennis "Buzzy" Matta on bass, Pat Martus lead vocals/guitar, Jerry Ratcliffe on Drums, Rick Rabior lead guitar. Together over 12 years, we've played many venues from the Woodward and Gratiot Cruises to the Hamtramck Festivals, clubs to private functions.
