Hot Wicked Sauce was a band with Black Wolfe Records from 2003 to 2004. Their brand of rock consisted of power and crunch which was readily available in the drumming of Gino Canale and the guitar playing of Eddie Wolfe. Together with the superb vocals of Dave Figlioli and the solid bass of Phil Thacker this powerful combo set the stage on fire. In their decision to release all artist contributions to the record company Black Wolfe Records brings to you at this site only Hot Wicked Sauce and their EP "Red Hot and Wicked". If you were one of those who caught one of their legendary performances at a Black Wolfe Record show then you are sure to agree that this EP captures the essence of one of Detroits finest rock acts. HWS played on stage with some of the best including Quiet Riot and graced the stage at Hot Rocks, The I-Rock, and of course Boney's Night Club.
Where are they now?
Gino Canale supplies the heavy beat for, Dave Figlioli is now with Balance and co-hosting Open Mic Night with Kevin Pruett at Busters Lounge, Eddie Wolfe plays with Helicon and Jill Jill Jillian, and Phil Thacker has found great success on bass with Critical Bill. Black Wolfe Records wishes them all good luck.
