4th horizon productions was started about a year and a half ago by mike and ali. We are trying to create something different in Detroit, taking two of the great things that we have in this city and putting them together in one room. Detroit is Hip Hop, Detroit is Punk Rock. So in a city where revolutions are in our heads and in our music, Detroit is where its gonna happen. This city is a musical revolution.I(mike) am also the executive chef at the Buzz Bar in downtown detroit. Its a new, upcoming bar that in my opinion is the best place to open up around the super bowl, and actually stay open. So come see me, hear good music and eat some good food.
We have brought detroit Fusion of the Revolutions which is based off the idea that with detroits vast collection of punk rock and hip hop artists that the two scenes can join. Both types of music in the underground scene has a lot of cross-over ideas and the two types of people can actually get along at new type of event.
We have also brought a few fashion shows (Funk and Fashion) and they have been very succesful bringing 200 people to the buzz bar both times. We also have another 2 shows in the works which you will hear more about.
