F & M Construction, Inc. is a family owned building company, Est. in 1978. Matteo Ferro is the founder and my father. He is a great teacher, a man of his word, and devoted to his family. My name is Donna, I am proud to be Matteo's daughter and partner.

The story begins when Matteo & Girolama Ferro came to America from Sicily in 1960. Matteo started as a rough carpenter, working hard to make a home for his wife. Girolama worked as a seamstress, she still has a talent for sewing that is quite impressive! As they started having children, she eventually stayed at home to care for the 4 babies that filled their home. That's a big job right there!!
As Matteo learned the building trade, he developed a love & talent for finish carpentry & building homes. In 1978, F & M Construction, Inc. was born. Today you can see the difference between an F & M home just by the beautiful woodwork alone - this is Matteo's signature on every project. As their children grew, Matteo & Girolama taught them the trade and the love for family that is evident in their lives now.
