QUESTION: HOW DO I ADD MUSIC TO MY PLAYLIST? ANSWER: THERE ARE 4 SIMPLE STEPS TO ADDING MUSIC:
1. Go to an Artist Page (Artist are the only ones who "upload" all the music content on our site. If you have songs that you have authored or you work with artists in the music industry, you can create an Artist profile and upload with their permission. If not, you can add songs from the Artists that are currently on the site. We do not condone the use or upload of any copywrite protected music outside the owner’s permission.)
2. If the Artist has posted music, select the song you would like added to your page by clicking "Add to Playlist". It will appear at the far right end of the song listing. When the song loads, you should see a Java alert "pop up" that says... "The song has been added to your profile".
3. You can now go back to your admin page (My Home) and click the link under your picture that says "edit Playlist". Once you get to the "edit Playlist" page you can change the order of the songs.
(CLICK THE SAVE CHANGES BUTTON @ THE BOTTOM WHEN YOURE FINISHED)
4. After you do that, just view your profile and the songs should be there. If not, try clearing your cache (cookies and temporary internet files) and refreshing your page.
QUESTION: WHAT IS THE HOT LIST AND HOW DOES IT WORK? ANSWER: The Hotlist is an additional area of exclusivity where you can place your favorite online friends or bands in addition to your Top 10 friends. Here's how the Hotlist works:
1. Go to your profile admin page (The "My Home" link).
2. Scroll down the admin page until you see the "Hotlist" admin box.
3. In the lower left corner, you have the option of enabling or disabling the Hotlist. Make sure its enabled.
4. Look over on the lower right corner of the Hotlist admin box, you will see a button that says "Edit Hotlist". Go ahead and click it.
5. Once you click the "edit" button it will take you to a page that works like your Top 10, where you can browse through, add or remove different profile users. You may add up to five of your online friends to the "HotList".
