I am currently setting up a web site and hope to have it up and operating soon. It will be devoted to people I have recorded through the years that I was in the recording industry. Stay tuned, as I'll be posting a link to it on this site.
I am currently retired. However, I worked in the recording studio business since 1965. During which time I worked at several studios in and around Detroit. Including, but not limited to, Motown... My own place Lamar Broadcasting Corp... Sound Patterns DXM... Livonia Sound Recording. When LSR went out of operation, we moved the equipment to my house in Detroit. I continued to do mixes and small jobs there. We sold the studio equipment to a person in Taylor and I went there to help setup and run the studio for him. He moved to Manton Mi. (North of Cadillac). Approximately a year later, I moved up North to Kalkaska (Near Traverse City). We then set up the studio at his house. Ran it for a year, then he got divorced and we had to move the studio out. It is currently in storage at his new house in Manton. I am hoping to be able to locate a building that we can set it up again. When we do it will also have in addition to 16 Track, Possibly 24 Track, and digital recording.
