The Duck Tape Mummies formed in GOTHAM CITY CAFE in Ferndale, Michigan mid nineties. Mike Dorn was already doing shows with Robin (the Amazing..) on bass. We added Adam Thomson on lead guitar and he could'nt get his guitar to play quietly so we decided to get LOUD. Greg Hills joined us on drums and the LEGEND began! There were riots in the streets. The police were called. Beer was drunk drank. Strange poetry eminated through smokey bars and hypercaffeinated cafes. Toasters were smashed! Government files were opened. The smiley guy was the GRINAGOGUE of our dreams. I broke a thumbnail. I think it all ended because we could'nt find a parking space and Adam had to watch buildings getting blown up in Detroit via Maynard G. Krebbs.
