Were a progressive metal band using Aziza's heritage (Egyptian and Lebanese) into some of our songs and imagery. Dendura has developed a fan base all throughout the United States thanks to the internet, though the majority of their fans come from Germany, Egypt, Brazil and Italy. The band currently has 8 movie soundtracks their music is heard in and 1 tv series in Detroit called "InZero". This has exposed the band to a wide audience and caught the attention of the media getting them a featured article in Michigan Vue Magazine (a filmakers magazine). "Broken" movie submitted to Sundance & Slamdance! The film "Broken" in which Aziza stars and Dendura has 2 songs in (I Have A Gun and Mummified both which can be heard at www.cdbaby.com/cd/dendura ) has been submitted to Sundance and Slamdance! The film is a feature length movie done on a very tiny budget by Detroit filmaker Derek Justice and his cousin David Deleon of Ohio. Aziza plays Beth Linder, a newspaper editor who is emotionally and physically abused which leads to her getting on drugs in the film. The film also stars Dave Gries, a long time acting partner friend of Aziza's who plays her love interest and Steve Hopton who formerly sang in the popular Detroit based band "Riot In Progress" who plays her abusive boyfriend.
