CTW or Conquer The World records is the lone offspring of Mike "CTW" Warden. The labels history is deep and rich going back 15 years to the early nineties indie hardcore scene. Band's such as Chokehold, Morning Again, Culture, Boy Sets Fire became hugely influential and important for the evolution and continuation of the genre. CTW contributed to the local Detroit scene by putting out records for Empathy, Thoughts Of Ionesco, Sean Hoen, Capture The Flag, Radio Holiday, The Holy Fire and The Transfer.
CTW has remained very active by putting out cutting edge digital audio books independently, most notably the worlds first paid podcast in Scott Sigler's "Earthcore" Since the initial release of the novel several other audio projects have been released and are under production. The latest audio book is "Swimming With Sharks" a DIY real world guide to the music business which offers deep insight and advice to people that have been there and done that.
The label last put out a retail CD a couple years ago but now is working on several projects under the wing of a major label level partnership. More news on this as the situation develops.
