"My goal has always been to create timeless music that anyone can relate to" Christopher Bennett grew up in the greater Detroit, Michigan area surrounded by a very diverse and intriguing music scene. After picking up several instruments Christopher started writing and performing. What came naturally was the ability to create songs with solid structure both musically and melodically with a strong emphasis on the song and harmony. "People like to sing along when they're listening to music, I know I do and I've never met anyone who doesn't sing along to their favorite songs" With this in mind, Christopher writes in a simplistic way, a way that anyone can relate to. Life, love, heartache, fun, pain, comfort, catchy hooks, no subject is an obstacle as we all deal with our own experience on a day to day basis. The focus is life and how to relate to anyone in any situation and that they feel something in every lyric and every note that Christopher writes. Christopher has played in many bands as both side man and front man, writing and co-writing and touring most of the lower fourty-eight both as an independent and opening for major recording artists. He took an extended break from live performance, spending most of his time in the studio, writing new material and constantly recreating himself as an artist combining the timeless sounds he loves with the trends of today. The sky is the limit. Christopher likes to keep things plain and simple, yet accessible but intriguing. in a final note... "Music is a gift and I want to make my presence known..."
