| Hello World,
This The Signal a.k.a. Phil Bolden of bass guitarist from Bricktown Station & Exec. Producer of The Abreact Performance Space. I am a Detroiter by osmosis since '92 when I left the U.S. Army (Signal Corps...hint-hint) to go to Wayne State U. back when Tartars were more than a sauce for fish!
Ever since then I have been into the Detroit theatre & music scene. In and out of bands, but always hammering out my own "little ditties" and wacky ideas, some of which actually find their way into Bricktown Station songs.
I am a believer in the natural artistic process. If you feel it, then just do it and don't worry about whether it's "good" or not. Create, emote, and share. It's healthy... I swear.
Look at it like this...
Everyone has an opioin, and sooner or later someone will love or hate whatever it is that we (artists) do so ultimately it's up to whomever beholds these creations.
