I am a 33 year old husband, a father to three awesome boys, a coach (youth basketball & baseball), a sports and fitness enthusiast, an I.T. Professional, and at the end of the day (generally when the boys are asleep!), a musician. I've been singing and playing the guitar ever since my grandpa Jim put a cherry red Epiphone in my hand at age 7 and taught me open chords. After spending many years in and out of cover bands, I've come to realize that if I really want to share my talents with people and have fun doing it, that I need to do it on my own terms and in my own way. This site represents part of that evolution... it marks the first time I've recorded my own music, shared my own takes on music that I enjoy, and advertised my newly formed solo act "Walking Tall". If you are looking to add entertainment to your restaurant, club, event, or even a private party, then I can help. Since it's just me, a couple of PA speakers, a mic, and a guitar, I can set up in just about any venue and start cranking out tunes within minutes. I specialize in Country music, but also enjoy performing Modern and Classic Rock favorites. | Somewhere in between all of my two boys' little league baseball games, I've managed to get some really cool gigs this summer. I started out at Sugarbush Tavern in Chesterfield (watch for me there this fall!), and then opened the summer season at Captain's Landing Restaurant on the Clinton River in Mt. Clemens. I've since performed on their party boat several times, and have a few more dates booked over the next few months. In between that I've played private parties, graduation parties (even one right on the lake... (very cool stuff... except for the fish flies... haha!), and in a couple weeks I'll be doing a wedding (please, no Wedding Singer jokes!). The venues have been great, and so have the people... so let's keep the parties rolling right on into this fall and winter!
