Ill Block Cartel was birthed on Ilene St. on the West Side of Detroit. The crew once known as the Ilene boyz transformed into the I-Side Mafia B.K.A Ill Block Cartel. The originators of the crew are: Money, Motion, K-Lo, Wack, L.B., Snoop, SkinnyMan, ME (Koolade)and The Muscle. The Cartel is much larger now and has about 45 members but as far as the MC's we have: The Muscle, ME, J.Byrd, Z-Mega, Deezo, Ro, M.T., Sakred, DLo, Black(WB), Alias(WB), Stone(WB), G Gutta(N2L), 2ke-Nate da Great, Cuzo, Beezo and Phat J*(Rest In Peace)*. With connections all across the "D" and its well organization, Ill Block Cartel is definitely an upcoming powerhouse in the Detroit rap scene and abroad. There is a branch of the Cartel in ATL called Ill Block South and there will be more branches put in place all across the states.
